There are small ways you
can help the library. We collect used toner cartridges that
we trade-in for office supplies. We need a few volunteers to
occasionally help weed, rake or mulch our library landscape.
And during July, we could use assistance with some of our
summer reading program activities. Let us know if you’re
interested in one of these projects!
-
To put new books or
movies on reserve, or to renew items, contact the library or
go online to the library’s website at:
www.leclairelibrary.org . The heading
‘Prairie Cat” gives you access to the online catalog where
you use the number from your library card and the last
4-digits of your card number as your pin. Just call us if
you need assistance. We’re open 10-8 Mon.-Thursday; 10-5 on
Fri. and 10-2 on Sat. The library is extension 4 on the City
phone: 289-4242.

Library Story Time is held Fridays at 10:30 for ages 2-5, featuring
stories, songs, finger plays and snacks. Registration is not required, and
this is a wonderful opportunity for young families to meet and socialize.
As a safety measure, the library will coordinate its severe weather
schedule with Pleasant Valley School. If school is cancelled because of
snow or road conditions, the library will also be closed. If weather causes
early school dismissal or cancellation of evening events, the library will
close at 5 PM on those days.
