  • Join us during LeClaire's French Market Days May 17th and 18th for our semi-annual Library Book Sale at the LeClaire Community Library
    Friday: 10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. 
    Saturday: 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. with a $1 "grab bag" starting at 1:00 P.M.
     
  • Dinosaur Coloring Contest From April 29-May 20, 2013 LeClaire Library children’s department will be holding a coloring contest to get ready for our Summer Reading Program theme—Dig Into Reading! Stop on by the library and pick up one of our dinosaur coloring sheet (OR DOWNLOAD THE SHEET BY CLICKING HERE*) and start decorating! Participants can use any medium of their choosing such as crayons, colored pencils, paint, strips of paper—whatever! All submissions will be displayed in the library and one lucky winner from three different age groups will be awarded a dinosaur book! One entry per child and the age groups will be 1-3 years, 4-7 years, and 8-12 years. Winners announced on May 24, 2013.
  • SAVE THE DATE: The Friends of the LeClaire Community Library will be hosting an Open House July 1st to celebrate our 9th Anniversary. Details coming soon.

With your LeClaire/Scott County Library card, you have access to EbscoHost research databases, a “full-text” resource can be accessed anytime you need it. There is a children’s version called Searchasaurus.

Wireless access from  Mediacom. We have 7 public computers. Sign in at the front desk.  Printing is 15 cents. Students under 16 must have a parent sign a permission form  to assure safe and responsible use.
